RubyEast '07

Just a quick writeup about the RubyEast 2007 conference. The presentations were all really good — the most informative for me being the two by Obie Fernandez. He saved the day when Amy Hoy had to call in sick.

Afterwards was a bit of drinking on the hotel patio. If you get a chance to hang out with Ezra Zygmuntowicz or Toby DiPasquale, then jump on it.

The next day was a BBQ at the boss’ house, for which I made my infamous never-the-same-twice hotwings. Good times.
